Smartcoat is a multi-purpose acrylic emulsion paint for both interiors and exteriors, designed to prepare and uniform surfaces before applying decorative or textured finishes.

Thanks to its excellent filling power, Smartcoat regulates absorption, improves adhesion, and provides a resistant, mould- and algae-proof base. It can be used in different ways depending on the project:

• Primer for decorative paints: Smartcoat Extrafine (0.1 mm) is the ideal undercoat for decorative paints and smooth finishes.
• Basecoat for lime plasters: Smartcoat Medium Grain (0.4 mm) is commonly used as a basecoat for lime-based plasters and mineral coatings.
• Finish coat: All three grain sizes (Extrafine, Medium, Coarse) can also be used as lightly textured decorative finishes on their own. Medium and Coarse Grain versions are particularly recommended for exterior applications, ensuring durability and weather resistance.
